Allan co-founded Carrick Lane and serves as Managing Partner, with responsibility for firm strategy, investment capabilities, and the firm's principal client and business relationships.
A trusted advisor and innovative problem solver with more than 25 years of experience in the derivatives industry, Allan has driven the growth of several investment businesses, from startup and early-stage ventures to organizations managing multiple billions of dollars in assets.
A native of Scotland and a CFA charterholder, Allan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSc with First Class Honors in Statistics from the University of Glasgow. He is an avid golfer and active in the autism community, where he previously served as President of the Board of Trustees of Garden Academy, a school dedicated to supporting autistic children and their families.
