Ken co-founded Carrick Lane and serves as Managing Partner, with responsibility for the firm’s investment activities, including product design, portfolio management, and trading. His expertise spans more than two decades, during which he has specialized in managing single-stock and index options strategies on behalf of private and institutional clients at several leading institutions.
Ken spent several years at Goldman Sachs as Head of Portfolio Management and Trading within the Private Wealth Management Equity Solutions Group, where he played a central role in growing the managed options business from inception to over $20 billion in assets under management. Earlier, he traded derivatives at Credit Suisse within the Volaris group in New York and Zurich. He began his career as a market maker with SLK-Hull Derivatives in Chicago.
Ken holds a B.S. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University with Dean's List honors and the GARP Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation. He and his wife reside in Saratoga Springs, New York.
