Tim co-founded Carrick Lane and serves as Partner, with responsibility for portfolio management and trading of the firm’s put and call writing investment strategies.
For more than two decades Tim has managed several option trading desks, including 12 years at Credit Suisse, where he managed the Volaris group’s single-stock and index option strategies on behalf of the firm’s private clients. He began his career as an options market-maker in Chicago with Botta Capital Management and Tahoe Trading.
Tim holds a B.A. in Economics from Duke University, where he was a two-time All-America lacrosse player and team captain. He represented Team USA at the Lacrosse World Championships in Tokyo (1996) and Perth (2002) and was inducted into the Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2016. He resides in New Canaan, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
